Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 July 2026
These terms govern your use of Scribe, a meeting-notes assistant operated by Faxter. By using Scribe you agree to them.
The service
Scribe joins meetings you or your calendar direct it to, produces notes and action items, emails those notes to attendees, and optionally files tasks in tools you connect.
Your responsibilities
- Consent & recording laws. You are responsible for ensuring that recording a meeting is permitted and that participants are appropriately notified, as required by applicable law and your organisation's policies. Scribe joins as a clearly named, visible participant.
- You must have the right to connect the calendars and accounts you link.
- You must not use Scribe for unlawful purposes or to record meetings you are not authorised to record.
Availability & changes
The service is provided "as is", without warranties. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may update these terms; continued use means acceptance.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Faxter is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the accuracy of automatically generated notes. Automated notes may contain errors — review them before relying on them.
Termination
You may stop using Scribe and revoke access at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
